The Junction City “Friends of Animals" is participating in the Animal Rescue Site $100,000 "Shelter-Plus Challenge" and needs community help to win. The program began January 18th and continues until April 18th with grants of $1,000 to $10,000 awarded to winning shelters. Winners are determined by the number of free, on-line votes they receive from their supporters. Friends of Animals continues to climb in the rankings among the over 7,000 shelters and rescues taking part in this challenge.
