Junction City High School varsity games vs. Shawnee Heights rescheduled for Saturday, February 23.  The girls will play at 3 p.m.  The boy's game will follow around 4:30 p.m.

Geary County Senior Center, closed.

C.L. Hoover Opera House, closed.

Geary County Historical Society Museum, closed.

  • Fort Riley

Fort Riley will observe a 2-hour delay with liberal leave in effect.

  • Business Activities

Armor-Eckridge has cancelled operations  Friday, February 22.  Operations will be resumed on Monday.

  • The State Wrestling Tournament
The tourney schedule for classes 6A and 5A has been adjusted for the second time because of the winter storm.  The Junction City Blue Jays have qualified 11 wrestlers to compete in the 6A tourney this Friday and Saturday at the Hartman Arena, Park City, KS near Wichita.  The new tourney schedule announced by the Kansas State High School Activities Association follows:
